Microsoft Power BI is a business analytics service by Microsoft. It aims to provide interactive visualisations and business intelligence capabilities with an interface simple enough for end users to create their own reports and dashboards. Utilise connectors that work together to turn your unrelated sources of data in to coherent, visually immersive, and interactive insights.

With every single application we develop through the Power Apps low-code platform, we by default build immersive Power BI reports which gives you meaningful insights to the data you have captured through Power Apps.
Not only can you report on data captured through Power Apps, you can connect to a variety of cloud and on-premise data sources using Power BI Gateways, allowing you to easily showcase real-time data in a true and transparent way.
Our Vaccination Hub Power App stores data securely in SharePoint (as well as Data Verse if preferred) and we have queried this data through Power BI to display the following key metrics:
- The total number of people vaccinated
- The total number of people who declined to be vaccinated
- The total of appointments booked with drill-down data to filter by date and location
- The total number of available bookings
- Trend analysis and forecasting i.e. when is the busiest booking period, the quietest
- Performance of clinicians – how many people have been vaccinated
- Anybody that is classified as High Risk
- … and many more metrics
